About Sundo

Sundo (Kouksundo) is a holistic Taoist practice that blends postures, breathwork, and meditation to harmonize your body, mind, and spirit. At the heart of Sundo lies deep lower abdominal breathing, activating the navel chakra to cultivate energy, vitality, and inner peace.

In this workshop, beginners start with foundational breathing techniques in a lying-down, sitting, or standing position, gradually progressing to dynamic postures while maintaining deep belly-centered breath. Through regular practice, you can strengthen your breath, guide Ki energy along meridian pathways, release stagnation, and achieve a clear, energized mind.

Sundo practice includes:
- Active stretching to prepare and warm-up your body
- Focused breathing exercises to activate your parasympathetic nervous system and promote a calm but focused awareness
- Cool-down exercises and stretches to circulate energy and support organ health

Sundo offers a path to enhanced physical well-being, greater self-awareness, and a more balanced, creative, and joyful life. Join us and begin your journey to inner harmony!

Master Jin Mok

Only a few hundred Sundo masters exist worldwide, and just eight hold the highest title of Bopsa. Jin Mok, President of the World Bakdol Kouksundo Federation, is one of them. With over 30 years of global teaching experience, he is also a renowned acupressure specialist and martial artist. As the founder of the National Kouksundo Center and Kouksundo Academy, Master Jin Mok trains teachers to uphold the authentic practice. Dedicated to preserving Sundo’s purity, he continues the legacy of his father, the great Master Chung San.

“The person who practices Sundo fills themselves with positive emotions. They strengthen their physical and emotional health. In this manner, the practioner achieves harmony.” -Master Jin Mok
