Donna is a dance facilitator, graduate student therapist trainee, and trauma-sensitive HeartMath practitioner who is deeply committed to helping people thrive. With a focus on assisting adults grappling with addiction and mental health challenges, Donna employs experiential and embodied therapeutic techniques including Healing Through Creativity, Inner Child, EcoTherapy, and Sundo, in which she holds a red belt.
Over the past two decades, Donna has been instrumental in facilitating therapeutic dance groups and programs. As a leader, she harnesses the power of movement, mindfulness, and music to foster transformation, connection, and a sense of belonging for her clients. Her method, Alixir Dance, is enriched by her studies with esteemed teachers including Andrea Juhan of Open Floor International, Daria Halpbern of Tamalpa Institute, and Jenny Sauer Klein of AcroYoga. Donna is pursuing her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) at Daybreak University.
